Political analysts have projected Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District as one of the most hotly-contested U.S. House races in the nation, literally from the moment the polls closed on U.S. Rep. Scott Perry’s narrow fourth-term win in November 2018.
But that’s cart-before-the-horse talk here in central Pennsylvania.
Democratic voters on Tuesday must first, and somewhat belatedly, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, select their candidate to go up against Perry (R-York County) in this year’s general election.
Their choice is between Tom Brier, a 28-year-old Hershey native and attorney, and Eugene DePasquale, the state Auditor General.
